A CT reconstruction using image data obtained from OsiriX. Model was cleaned up in ZBrush.
Process
CT image data provided by OsiriX was reconstructed in InVesalius, providing a 3D model that was imported into ZBrush to be cleaned up (i.e., removing artifacts, filling holes, smoothing out surfaces) and textured.
Contextualization
The finished model was contextualized in an infographic illustrating the differences between some of the most common shoulder injuries. I sketched out the surrounding tissues that I wanted to include in the final outcome and three possible layouts for the infographic.
